Is there a meal plan?

All students receive a healthy breakfast during the first few minutes of class while the teacher is taking attendance, collecting homework, and listening to announcements. Students may use meal accounts or cash daily to purchase lunch. Lunch costs $2.30. Applications for free or reduced price meals are available. The price for reduced lunches is $0.40.

What if I need to pick up my child during school hours?

While we strongly encourage students to be in the classroom during the entirety of school hours, we understand occasions arise where a child needs to leave. In these rare situations, parents must check out students through the office prior to leaving school. Any person picking up the student must be listed on the emergency card and show a valid picture I.D. or have written approval from a parent or guardian.

Are parents allowed to bring cupcakes, candy, and/or snacks to school for the students?

We do not encourage parents to bring in any snacks, cupcakes, or candy for students during school hours. We would like to encourage healthy eating and minimize the consumption of sugar during the day. As always, we appreciate your support and understanding.
